Universal Epic Universe is a theme park at Universal Orlando Resort in the Orlando area. Opened in 2025, the park expands Universal Orlando into an even larger multi-park destination and introduces a different layout centered around immersive themed worlds connected through grand portal entrances.

Unlike a traditional theme park with one continuous set of lands, Epic Universe is organized around Celestial Park, a central hub that leads outward into additional themed environments. The park emphasizes large-scale design, major attractions, themed dining, entertainment, and immersive storytelling across multiple worlds.

About the Park

Epic Universe represents one of the biggest theme park additions in Florida in many years. The park is designed as a highly immersive destination where guests move from the gardens, fountains, and attractions of Celestial Park into distinct worlds inspired by Nintendo, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, How to Train Your Dragon, and Universal’s classic monsters.

The park also connects closely with Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, which overlooks Celestial Park and adds another layer to the broader Epic Universe experience.

Themed Worlds and Attractions

Universal Epic Universe features five major worlds, each with its own attractions, dining, entertainment, and visual identity:

  1. Celestial Park: The heart of Epic Universe, Celestial Park serves as the park’s central world and includes gardens, fountains, restaurants, shops, and attractions such as Stardust Racers and Constellation Carousel.
  2. SUPER NINTENDO WORLD: This interactive world brings Nintendo-inspired environments to life with colorful settings, themed dining, character encounters, and attractions such as Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, Yoshi’s Adventure, and Mine-Cart Madness.
  3. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic: This land expands Universal’s Wizarding World experiences with a new setting tied to the magical government world, along with themed attractions, dining, and detailed environments inspired by the Harry Potter universe.
  4. How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk: Designed with strong family appeal, this world recreates the Viking village of Berk with dragon-themed attractions, entertainment, and experiences inspired by the popular film franchise.
  5. Dark Universe: This world draws from Universal’s classic monsters and gothic storytelling traditions, featuring eerie settings, themed dining, character encounters, and attractions such as Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment and Curse of the Werewolf.

Dining at Epic Universe ranges from quick snacks to full themed restaurants spread throughout the park’s worlds. Celestial Park alone includes several major dining locations, while each portal world adds its own themed food and drink options designed to match the setting and story of the land.
